Future Coal Supply Prospects available at Forefront

Andrew Minchener’s report examining the future supply and demand of coal is now available in the Forefront report store for purchase.

Priced at £255.00, this is the fourth report Andrew Minchener has produced for IEA Clean Coal Centre. In his report Andrew examines the medium to long term supply prospects for coal. Important questions are raised by this including:
1. Have all the significant coal deposits been indentified worldwide?
2. How much coal might ultimately be available for extractions?
3. How much coal can be extracted economically from deposits?

Andrew Minchener argues that currently supplies of coal may not be adequate to last through to 2030 and beyond. The consequences of this prediction have raised issues including the need to establish new reserves and the likelihood of new national suppliers which are discussed in his report.
